Access to the wired network within the Gardens & Museums is only available to University owned and managed devices, which fully reach Information Security guidelines. This includes having an active, secure and supported Operating System and using updated and licenced Antivirus Software.
If you feel your computer falls into this category and you would like a wired connection please contact it@museums.ox.ac.uk with the following details:
- Your Name
- Your Location
- Your SSO username
- Your computer/device asset tag or name
- The MAC address of your computer (if you do not know this we can provide guidance on how to obtain, or may hold within our records)
- The Operating System on your computer/device
- The AntiVirus software installed on your computer/device
- Your reasons for needing a Wired Connection
