Gardens & Museums IT can provide support for both the computing and AV hardware, and associated sets ups and configurations within Lecture Theatre and Seminar Room spaces.
Gardens & Museums IT currently maintain and support the hardware in such spaces within the Ashmolean Museum, Pitt Rivers Museum and Botanic Gardens. And on undertaking support of these spaces, full reviews of the existing sets up took place with subsequent improvements being implemented, including operational, hardware, service, and security changes.
Support activities which are undertaken include weekly preventative maintenance checks, system monitoring, security and application updates, the servicing of equipment and liaison with external service providers.
